Can your PC run SecondLife
You would think its quite straight forward getting started, just go to the SL Home page, find the install files, install it, the SL viewer, then run it and before you know it your roaming SecondLife. But its not as straight forward as you would think. Before downloading and installing anything its always wise to make sure your PC is capable to run it first, does your PC have enough memory?, do you require 32bit compatible software or 64bit?, so below I have a set of prerequisites you should do before you try anything. This will ensure that you not only have the required system components but that you have the correct components to safely run the software on your PC and that you are getting the best use of that software that your PC is capable of.

Using third party viewers
You can connect to Second Life using software released by a third-party developer. Linden Lab provides a Policy on Third-Party Viewers to promote a positive experience for all Second Life Residents.Beware of third-party viewers that are not in the Viewer Directory: they have either declined to self-certify their compliance with Linden Lab policies or been refused for non-compliance with the policies. Singularity
Some PC find it difficult to run Second Life because they may lack certain software and hardware capabilities, nine years ago my PC ran a high quality graphics card but then over the years and five graphics cards later many like myself found our PC falling behind the viewers upgrades over the years.Singularity is a third party viewer that I found offered a less laggy experience for my PC, built with the users in mind this viewer offers the average PC a good quality Second Life experience (singularityviewer.org, 2016).
And thats it, if you followed these very simple steps then congratulations, you have safely and successfully found and installed a Second Life viewer on your PC.
